Rules & Regulations
• The first initial membership fee is $50.00 (Fifty) only.
• All funds shall be held in the name of the Association and deposited in the bank.
• Any withdrawal of money from Associations account shall bear two signatures of the committee members.
• A member shall cease to be a member for non-payment of subscription/membership fee due by 30th April of each year.
• A member shall cease to be a member if he/she is expelled from the Association by the General Body for anti association activities. Pending the decision by the general body, the executive committee may suspend the member for the time being. A suspended member may only seek redressal/hearing at a general meeting.
• Membership may be terminated if the subscription is in arrear, resignation or misconduct by the member. Before any membership is terminated, 30 days notice must be given to the member as a show cause notice as to why the membership should not be terminated.
• The executive committee shall deal with all complaints. Any misconduct coming to the attention of the executive committee either in writing or otherwise may be dealt with, provided that the person against whom the complaint is made is given the opportunity to defend himself or herself.
• The executive committee may appoint a sub committee of three persons named as “The Disciplinary Action Committee” and they shall have the same powers as the executive committee to deal with disciplinary matters.
• The committee without approval from the general body at one time may incur no expenditure greater than $5,000.
• All capital expenditure must be approved at the annual general meeting (AGM) for the next financial year.
• Any of the executive committee members may represent the Association on any occasions.
• The Annual General Meeting of the Association shall be held on the Last Sunday in August.
• No Principle office holder in the Executive shall hold the same office for more than 1 and/or 2 consecutive years unless there is no other candidate duly proposed and seconded. The office bearers (5 after 1st year and 6 of the following year and so on) will be replaced every consecutive year.
• The executive committee shall be elected at the AGM and all officers shall hold office for a period of one/two year.
• The executive committee may meet as and when required but not less than 6 times a year.
• The executive committee shall have control of all administration as may be necessary from time to time to carry out the objectives of the PSCA.
